The 2023 Prix Bohemia Radio Festival once again stirred up the autumn cultural programme in Olomouc as radio and podcast fans filled the listening halls. 

Czech Radio's Chess Game, created with the Světluška Foundation and PlayByEars for blind players, won 1st place at the Prix Europa 2023 in the Interactive Media category. 

Czech Radio is once again bringing to life the traditional Prix Bohemia Radio festival. The 39th edition of the festival will be held from 16-19 October, 2023 in Olomouc.

As part its 100-year celebrations, Czech Radio held the international conference "Media and Ukraine" on Thursday 22 June in Prague.

On Monday, 22 May, Director General of Czech Radio René Zavoral received a delegation from the German public broadcaster MDR, headed by Intendant Ms. Karola Wille.

On May 18th 1923, Czech Radio made history as the first continental European broadcaster. All year, Czech Radio celebrates its centennial - 100 years is just the beginning.

Yesterday, Czech Radio signed an agreement of mutual cooperation with the Ukrainian public broadcaster UA:PBC at the international conference Radiodays Europe in Prague.
