Czech Radio's digital platforms bring trusted journalism and audio content to audiences wherever they are. From breaking news on iROZHLAS and the award-winning Vinohradská 12 podcast to the international perspective of Radio Prague International and the on-demand listening experience of mujRozhlas, each platform serves a distinct audience while advancing Czech Radio's public service mission across digital channels.
iROZHLAS
iROZHLAS.cz is Czech Radio’s news and current affairs website and mobile application. It was launched in 2017 with the aim of providing high quality, independent news in a user-friendly format and has long been one of Czechia’s most widely read news outlets.
iROZHLAS.cz offers a wide range of content, combining original reporting, previously broadcast material and news agency coverage across multiple formats: text, podcasts, video and live video streams from Czech Radio stations. The platform has its own specialised team but works in close collaboration with other Czech Radio editorial teams. Radio journalists, for example, provide iROZHLAS.cz with original material that it is not possible to use in full within traditional broadcast programming.
Among other priorities, it focuses on disinformation. To this end, the Ověřovna (Fact Checking Centre) project was established to explain and contextualise false information, half-truths and distorted claims. In cooperation with the National Institute for Research on Socioeconomic Impact of Diseases and Systemic Risks and the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the research project Společnost nedůvěry (Society of Distrust) was launched with a view to examining which conspiracy narratives and disinformation resonate within Czech society.
Vinohradská 12
Czech Radio news podcast that primarily focuses on current domestic and international political issues. A single topical subject is explored in context every day. Content is prepared by a team headed by Matěj Skalický, host of the podcast.
Radio Prague International
Broadcasting in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. It also operates news websites in each of these languages.
mujRozhlas
The Czech Radio audio portal and mobile app offers live broadcasts and an archive of radio programmes, with the option to listen both online and offline.
