Notice on the processing of personal data when communicating with Czech Radio via its website
Czech Radio processes the personal data you provide through the web form. Please read the information below on how your personal data is processed.
- Czech Radio, Company ID No. 45245053, with its registered office at Vinohradská 12, 120 99 Prague 2, established under Act No. 484/1991 Coll., on Czech Radio, as the controller (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller" for the purposes of this notice), processes the personal data of visitors to its website (hereinafter referred to as "data subjects") in connection with their communications (e.g. messages to the studio, song requests, etc.). Data subjects may contact the Controller's Data Protection Officer at poverenec@rozhlas.cz or contact the Controller directly using the contact details available on its website at czech.radio.
- The Controller processes the personal data provided by the data subject through the online form. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the "GDPR").
- The Controller processes the personal data of data subjects on the basis of its legitimate interest in ensuring proper communication with visitors to its website, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
- The provision of personal data is voluntary. Data subjects are under no legal obligation to provide their personal data; however, the Controller requires this information in order to process their request or respond to their enquiry.
- Personal data will be processed only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, typically for the time required to process the data subject's enquiry or request.
- Once the purpose for processing the personal data no longer applies, the personal data will be anonymised or securely destroyed (by shredding or by another method that prevents unauthorised access) no later than the end of the calendar quarter following the expiry of that purpose.
- The Controller may disclose the data subject's personal data to competent public authorities and other recipients where required by applicable law. Such recipients will process the personal data as independent controllers. The Controller does not transfer personal data to any processors.
