Václava Černohorská studied at Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava under Milan Báchorek from the second year.
She was not predisposed to composition and improvisation; she was rather interested in piano play. She was later inspired to study composition by her older fellow student, a composition major, who was a kind of a "shining example" for her. By studying composition, Václava Černohorská learnt things that might have gone unnoticed for her and it brought her to improvisation in some way and widened her music range.
