Julie Stejskalová appointed the new Editor-in-Chief of News and Current Affairs
Czech Radio´s Director General has appointed Julie Stejskalová as the new Editor-in-Chief of News and Current Affairs department. She will be carrying out her duties since the beginning of August.
Coordination of both national and foreign newsroom will be among her main duties. „I am persuaded that Julie will put a good use to her long term working skills gained thanks to her work in public service media,“ stated Czech Radio´s Director General René Zavoral.
Julie Stejskalová has been part of Czech Radio´s News Department since January 2015. She has been working on various posts within Czech News Agency, where she helped with the development of the redaction system, among other things. Apart from that she also participated on professional growth of commencing journalists. She graduated from the Faculty of journalism of Charles University and participated on various internships in foreign media services.
