Salif Keita Tale

With a long career, Mali’s Salif Keita has mastered the craft and rhymths of Africa and has internationally pioneered Afropop music. His new album is produced by French member of the Gotan Project, Philipe Cohen Solal who infused a flavor of exciting dance to Salif Keita’s traditional Mandingo style.

Bobby McFerrin makes a special appearence on Simbi with Manu Dibango providing the saxophone. On C’est Bon, C’est Bon Salif Keita surprisingly includes British dub rapper, Roots Manuva.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) recently unveiled Seke Seke by American Zahra Universe and Cameroonian Wes Madiko as the official song for the upcoming 29th Orange Africa Football Cup of Nations slated for South Africa. Look forward to the next Friday Ripple as Radio Wave will exclusively cover the largest football tournament in Africa that will begin on the 19th of January.

Closing the show was British born Ungandan recording artist, Tha ICON with his latest offering Kiriza.
