Czech Radio Dvojka will broadcast a 12-hour live marathon of interviews with personalities from the Czech cultural scene
In connection with the critical situation in most cultural fields, Czech Radio Dvojka prepared a special broadcast in the form of a 12-hour live marathon of interviews with celebrities of the Czech theater and literary scene entitled “Long live theatre! Long live books! ”. The radio festival will take place on Thursday 9 April from 6.30 am to 6:30 pm
Listeners will learn practical information about how they can actively participate in promoting the cultural scene now, either by purchasing a book online, by supporting live streams of theater performances, or in any other way that currently helps the cultural scene.
“We would like to express our full support to our cultural scene, not only as a public service medium, which has the task not only of informing but also educating and entertaining, and also supporting the development and high quality of cultural production in the Czech Republic. We would like to give space to debate what needs to be done immediately and how our listeners can get involved. At the same time, it will open up topics that will have to be addressed by representatives of all cultural areas in the coming weeks and months, ”said René Zavoral, CEO of Czech Radio.
